According to reports, Biebs recently linked up with Iron Mike for a boxing session.

In an odd bit of foreshadowing, Justin Bieber hung out with Mike Tyson and got some boxing tips from the legendary fighter just days before his alleged run-in with a paparazzo. Check out the Biebs working the heavy bag with Tyson. They posed for a pic with another guy, which Tyson tweeted with the caption, “Me, @johnny and @justinbieber before we started training JB” (TMZ)

Around mid-May, G-Unit’s 50 Cent talked about Biebs’ love for Mayweather.

“Justin is also a Floyd fan. They love the sport. A lot of people like it and haven’t actually made contact or received anything to make them feel like it was cool or comfortable enough for them to come,” 50 said about JB’s much-discussed ring walk. “When it actually happens and it goes down like that, it feels good. When they get a chance to see different genres, different people, everybody’s excited.” (MTV)

Recent reports suggested Mayweather wanted Biebs to come through months in advance.

According to our sources, Mayweather asked Bieber four months ago to join him in Las Vegas for the Miguel Cotto fight … and Bieber, a huge boxing fan, jumped at the opportunity. We’re told Floyd and Justin became friends after Floyd saw Justin’s movie, “Never Say Never,” and reached out to his camp. According to our sources, Floyd decided he wanted to mentor Justin and the two developed a relationship. Our sources say Mayweather tried to impart his work ethic on Justin, basically telling him he could develop the same level of “greatness” Floyd achieved … if he worked as hard as Floyd did. We’re told the two hit it off and Justin tells people he thinks Floyd is just misunderstood … and that he is a really a “hard-working and clean-cut guy.” (TMZ)

Following Mayweather’s recent defeat of boxer Miguel Cotto, entertainers including 50, Biebs and Lil Wayne all hit the ring to celebrate.

The ‘Baby’ hitmaker showed his support for Mayweather by carrying two of the sports star’s title belts as he and rapper 50 Cent accompanied the boxing champ into Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena. Bieber remained ringside throughout the match to cheer on Mayweather, who preserved his unbeaten record after defeating Cotto. After the fight, the teen sensation jumped into the ring with 50 Cent and Lil Wayne to congratulate Mayweather on his victory and pose for pictures. (7 Action News)
