Hynief was reportedly arrested on multiple drug and weapons-related charges.

A borough man is facing marijuana distribution charges after authorities said they found 17 plastic bags of suspected drugs in his possession in a Washington Avenue recording studio, authorities said Friday. Toby M. Raynor, 24, was arrested at the studio on Thursday, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said. Raynor allegedly sold marijuana to undercover detectives from the gang division of the Prosecutor’s Office on two occasions in June and July, Molinelli said. On Thursday, detectives executed a search warrant at the recording studio, known as Santana, on Washington Avenue. Along with suspected marijuana, authorities found two fully loaded 9mm handguns and several boxes of ammunition, Molinelli said. (North Jersey News)

The rapper was held on $50,000 bail and, as Juelz pointed out, eventually released.

Authorities executed the raid after a ten-month-long investigation. Police allege that Hynief distributed marijuana to an undercover cop on two occasions last summer, in June and July. Hynief was held on $50,000 bail, but Juelz tweeted on Saturday that the rapper had been freed. An officer at the Bergen County Jail confirmed to MTV News that Hynief had been released. (MTV)

He is primarily known for his association with Santana’s Skull Gang crew.

Raynor works with the Harlem-based Skull Gang (Street Kids United by Loyalty & Loot), a loose-knit group formed in 2007 by rapper Juelz Santana who primarily record on the Skull Gang Entertainment label. They’ve worked with, among others, rap legend Jim Jones, Lil Wayne and Mike Epps. (Cliffview Pilot)
