The DIY approach isn’t for everyone, but when an artist can keep hustling, grinding, and reach his goals on his own terms, the payoff is priceless. At least, that’s how it must feel for North Chelmsford, Mass.’s own Joey B, a rising MC who’s latest single, “By Myself,” finds him teaming with one of his biggest influences, Joe Budden. The two make for a fitting lyrical duo, particularly given that neither is scared to rap about the uglier side of life while throwing middle fingers to the doubters. “By Myself” is now available for stream and can cue downloaded through iTunes and all major digital retailers.
