To be honest with you, I just reached out to them dudes [Chris Rivers, Emilio Rojas, Bodega Bamz], because they’re on the grind that I’m on.
I said, “Let’s get on this grind together.” I feel like there’s that embracing that’s needed in the Latin culture that doesn’t happen enough.
I see dudes grinding, I see what they’re doing and I reached out to them because I wanted them to be on the record with me. I wanted the opportunity to showcase their talent on my platform. I admire their grind, I admire the way they go about their hustle and they remind me of me, a lot.

I told !llmind let’s get this right and I could tell it was real uptempo and I wanted a collaborative effort with no hook where we just spar out and just have fun.
It just so happened that the timing, with the Puerto Rican Day Parade and things like that, it was all in place. That just goes to show that when you’re making music based on just vibes and energy, other things are going to align.
When I reached out to those brothers, they were all on deck and they were happy. It’s just a fun record. It’s not race-driven at all. It’s just four of my friends that happen to be Latin.
I called it “Latino Part II” because it’s a proud feeling when me and my brothers hop on something and represent as much as we can.
