“Dream On” we did a little while back. We basically just touched on three different stories in a sixteen-bar setting. The first verse was very braggadocious. It spoke more on the success that I’ve been able to achieve over the years.
The second verse was more of a direct conversation to someone in my life that touched on maybe the opposite side of that spectrum and how success is viewed from that vantage point.
The last verse was really about gratitude. It was gratitude for the fans that had stayed along the way throughout my career. It’s been a long journey and the same way I’ve had ups and downs, the fans have had to endure that as well.
