Slaughterhouse’s Joe Budden may have taken his eyes off his recent Drake feud and moved it to Drizzy’s frequent collaborator Future.

On Joey’s new “Idols” song, Budden appears to take a subtle jab at the hitmaker in relation to the current state of hip-hop.

“But if it’s all gonna implode before it blow up, gonna need more than overcharging for what they did to the Cold Crush/Just a PSA in lieu of the movement, can’t get a quarter back now, what about Future music, really, really, really?”

Back in August, Budden announced his disinterest in continuing a Drake feud.

“He’s very insecure,” Budden said. “If I’m Drake, I’ve built my entire empire off said insecurity. So why would I want to get rid of it? I wouldn’t. That’s exactly why I stopped dissing him. It was pointless.”

Recently, Budden’s go-to producer AraabMuzik talked about helping him launch Drizzy diss tracks.

“All of that just happened right there. I already had the beats made obviously. It’s not like I made them on the spot as they had already been done. It was just about picking the right track to do the damage on. Those tracks fit the theme of what was going on. All the diss tracks were all good money. They all got millions of millions of views and they got him the attention.” (HHDX)

Last month, Budden revealed Drake hit him up on social media with direct messages and presented him with a $10,000 challenge.

“I won’t tell you what it said verbatim in case I have to put it out. I’m only not putting it out because I’m a real n*gga. So you just don’t move like that. You don’t screenshot men. You just don’t do that. I’m not going to do it with women, I’m not going to do it with men. … He started off with, ‘I would like to formally invite you to one of my four Madison Square Garden shows, August 4th, you and however many people you would like to bring. Period. Right? Then after that it said, ‘Oh, I bet you can’t release 25 diss records between now and then.’ So then it was the laughing emoji and I use that with my friends. So I don’t know if he’s laughing or joking at this point. And then he followed that with, ‘If you can, I will give you $10,000. LOL’ And then it said ‘Joey’ with a bunch of exclamation points.” (ESPN)
