Slaughterhouse’s Joe Budden is keeping it 100 on where things stand with rap rival Drake. The hip-hop veteran has revealed he is allegedly on an OVO Sound goons hit list.
In a recent podcast, Joey said he would take immediate legal action if Drake’s entourage goes after him.
“I’m suing as soon as it occurs,” Joe said referring to anyone from OVO Sound trying to attack him. “Let me be very clear. Eh! If you just text me, I will come to where you are for you to do it. I’m looking for the lick. Let me tell you something, why is that a list? [laughs] You know exactly what’s going on around here.”

Last summer, Joe talked about putting an end to his short-lived Drake feud.
“He’s very insecure,” Budden said. “If I’m Drake, I’ve built my entire empire off said insecurity. So why would I want to get rid of it? I wouldn’t. That’s exactly why I stopped dissing him. It was pointless.”

Recently, Budden’s go-to producer AraabMuzik talked about helping him launch Drizzy diss tracks.
“All of that just happened right there. I already had the beats made obviously. It’s not like I made them on the spot as they had already been done. It was just about picking the right track to do the damage on. Those tracks fit the theme of what was going on. All the diss tracks were all good money. They all got millions of millions of views and they got him the attention.” (HHDX)

AM also suggested Joe made the right decision by going at the biggest musician out right now.
“We got people looking, we got people wondering, people expecting more and people expecting the album. This is basically everything happening like the right way. Before that, we were just putting things out strategically, but when that whole thing happened, it shifted things. However, it worked for the better as Drake is obviously the biggest artist in the world right now. Why not go that route?” (HHDX)
