Joe Budden On $13K Child Support Debt, “Baby Moms Is Back On Her Bullsh*t”

Slaughterhouse's Joe Budden has addressed the arrest warrant issued to him yesterday for reportedly landing in child support debt nearly totaling $13,000.

Via Twitter, Budden discussed the hype generated by the media over his financial situation on Monday evening.

“So I’m on the front page of the paper & the headline reads “unpaid child support”.. It SHOULD say “babymoms is back on her bullsh*t”, lol,” he tweeted Tuesday (October 19).

“& totally aside from that, they used the worse picture ever, b*stards…”

“& WHY exactly is that front page worthy ?? I know SOMETHING else HAD to happen in Jersey city yesterday, smmfh”

While not targeting Budden directly, Slaughterhouse’s Joell Ortiz tweeted about men taking responsibility for their children yesterday.

“I don’t have a 6-pack or wild muscles but i’m still a model……. A ROLE model. Stop forcing women to be dads. Take care of your kids. Word,” Ortiz tweeted. (Joell Ortiz’s Twitter)

Details on Budden’s arrest warrant hit the Internet yesterday evening.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Jersey City rapper Joe Budden on charges he’s in arrears nearly $13,000 in child support and Hudson County officials are on the lookout for him during the yearly sweep of “deadbeat dads,” officials said. The warrant for failure to pay the $12,983 in child support and failure to appear at a hearing was issued in May, Sheriff’s Department Chief John Bartucci said today. (The Jersey Journal)

Reports claim he was previously arrested last summer on a child support charge.

It’s not the first time Budden has been in trouble for failure to pay child support. He was arrested on the charge on Aug. 5, 2009, Bartucci said. Born in Spanish Harlem, Budden moved to Jersey City with his family when he was 11 and grew up on the West Side. His addresses now are on Bentley Avenue in Jersey City and River Road in North Bergen.
