Jim Jones & Fabolous Exchange Twitter Disses, “It’s Over For That Ballin’….”

New York rappers Jim Jones and Fabolous have sparked a Twitter beef against one another after the Dipset member reportedly made subliminal remarks towards Fab.

In his Tweets, Jones allegedly referenced Fab’s new “Body Ya” music video which he accuses the rapper of copying his “swag.”

“I just seen another rappers video tht look just like me chain gang n scarf dam I’m sonnin these n*ggaz I gues my style might body ya lol wht,” he wrote Tuesday (March 30) afternoon. “RT @ChrisLuck83: these niggas mad I think cuz he found out he was @jimjonescapo son when he was wishin it was jay who forgot to wear a r New app on iPhones .. jimjones How to get fresh 101 … free scarf n belt included lol owwwwww lmao G.O.R in Harlem now Can I atleast get a thnku for gettin ur Twitter acct poppin lol I’m out I quit I quit pow pow play dead lol” (Jim Jones’ Twitter)

Fab responded two hours later with his own Jones references including the rapper’s 2006 hit single, “We Fly High (Ballin’)” and 2008’s “Pop Champagne.”

Last year, Jones hit up Twitter to go at Jay-Z after the release of “Death of Auto-Tune.”

“Above all Summer Jam was dope,” Jones wrote via Twitterunmodified. “And I got to see Jay-Z who refused to get out of his van when he saw my pretty face. We was mobbin’, he’s still a sucka…A old sucka. lol. Known for having close ties to Jay, Fab previously spoke with SOHH about recruiting the rap mogul for his Loso’s Way album.

“Actually, [this song] got leaked and it was a version with Jay only rapping on it and it’s called, ‘When The Money Goes,’ Fabolous said. “Jay had recorded something to it, I guess what you hear on the leak, for American Gangster and I don’t think it made the final cut so he had reached out to me, knowing that I was working on this project and knowing the theme of what I was trying to put together and said, ‘Yo, I got a record that might fit in to play.’ So, when he brought the record to the table it did. I re-vocaled it. Jay is just on the hook as far as that, it was his idea for the hook.” (SOHH)
