Music mogul Jay Z has announced his growing Roc Nation army expanded with the addition of Chicago hip-hop artist Vic Mensa this week.
Young Hov broke the news to fans with a Twitter post Tuesday (April 21).

Mensa reportedly spoke on his new situation via a TIDAL streaming service video.
In the announcement video, which premiered on TIDAL, the 21-year-old Savemoney co-founder meets with Jay Z and signs his deal. He joins a prestigious list of artists on Roc Nation including Jay Z, Kanye West, and Rihanna. “It feels astounding just to be in a family tree like that, from Jay Z to Kanye West to J. Cole,” said Vic. “I look up to all of them dudes. It gives me chills almost. Everything that I’ve done for so long is what’s [brought] me to this point. And this is only the beginning.” (Rap-Up)
