Music mogul JAY-Z is steady slaying when it comes to putting out solo albums. The hip-hop giant’s newly released 4:44 has gone platinum in less than a week.

According to the RIAA, Young Hov has another platinum plaque to hang up.

Recent reports claimed 4:44 would land on Apple Music in the coming days.

A source confirmed that 4:44 will be added to Apple Music/iTunes next week after its one-week exclusivity window on Tidal; the songs also streamed on 160 iHeartRadio stations across the U.S. after 4:44’s release and they will air until midnight on July 1 on the network’s Urban and Rhythmic formats. The exclusive is part of a $200 million deal the carrier signed with Tidal earlier this year. (Billboard)

A few days ago, NBA superstar LeBron James made sure to weigh-in on the new LP on his Twitter page.

Last week, hip-hop artists from Jadakiss to Meek Mill have co-signed JAY’s newest solo offering.
