The joint effort surfaced across music blogs Thursday (May 9) afternoon.

Terius Nash, AKA The-Dream, and Jay-Z have become one of music’s most dynamic songwriting duos as of late. Earlier this year, they both earned a Grammy for “No Church in the Wild”, and they’re working together on Jay-Z’s new solo album. But first, The-Dream will release his own new solo album, IV Play, on May 28th, and he’s recruited Jay to guest on the track “High Art.” (Consequence of Art)

Following a lenghty verse from Dream, Young Hov delivers with a hot sixteen bars.

“Sky high with Ty Ty, G feezys with Jay Breezy/Castro to Cabo with OG, then I’m back home to my Bey-Be/Police escorts at the All Star, and the Super Bowl, I don’t need a horn/Horn, beep beep, I’m too on/My n*ggas don’t do traffic/How ironic, all we used to do is traffic/Then it was drop me off at my girl’s house/At one o’clock, pick me back up/You know she gon’ try to train a n*gga, before I step up in the club/Would’ve drove my own V/She be tryna take a n*gga’s keys/She know them h*es be on a n*gga/She ain’t even tryin’ let n*gga leave/You just wanna be around them nasty b*tches, she said/F*ck them h*es, I’m just stuntin’ with my n*ggas, he said” (“High Art”)

The new record is just one of various high-profile collabos off Dream’s upcoming IV Play LP.

Close to two weeks before the release of his upcoming album, “IV Play” (May 28), The-Dream releases his Jay-Z-assisted, “High Art.” The-Dream’s “IV Play” album will also feature guest appearances by Beyoncé, 2 Chainz, Big Sean, Pusha T, Mary J. Blige, Fabolous and Kelly Rowland. The-Dream and Kelly Rowland will embark on a U.S. summer tour in support of their solo full-lengths. The co-headlining summer tour, Lights Out, kicks off in Kansas City on May 24 and wraps up in Chicago on June 23. (Billboard)

Their joint effort comes a week after the full-length release of Jigga’s “100$ Bill” Great Gatsby record.

Taylor Swift isn’t the only one who uses her songs to get revenge! In a new song from The Great Gatsby soundtrack, Jay-Z calls the 23-year-old singer out! In the song, Jay-Z implies that people tell celebrities to behave, but they don’t have to because of the amount of money they have. He raps, “That cheese made us constipated couldn’t tell us s**t. Then, Jay-Z takes a major stab at Taylor! He says, “Took that, Taylor Swift to a hundred f**king million, b***h,” referring to the incident where Kanye West stole the microphone from Taylor at the 2009 MTV Music Awards. Jay-Z is saying Kanye became famous for dissing Taylor, and now Kanye is worth $100 million, according to Forbes. (Hollywood Life)
