Jay claims there is no truth to the widespread reports seen on various credible web sites.

In a Daily News exclusive, Jay-Z scoffed at a recent report he wrote a poem to his newborn daughter vowing to drop the word “b—-” from his vocabulary. “That poem and story are fake,” Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, revealed. (New York Daily News)

Based on weekend reports, Young Hov allegedly penned a poem revealing his changed stance toward the term.

The hitmaker’s baby girl Blue Ivy was born in New York last Saturday and she has inspired dad to clean up his rhymes – something that even Oprah Winfrey failed to do while challenging Jay-Z about his questionable lyrics during a 2010 appearance on her show. In a poem dedicated to his little girl, the “99 Problems” rapper writes, “Before I got in the game, made a change, and got rich/I didn’t think hard about using the word b**ch/I rapped, I flipped it, I sold it, I lived it/Now with my daughter in this world I curse those that give it.” He continues, “I never realized while on the fast track that I’d give riddance to the word b**ch/To leave her innocence in tact/No man will degrade her, or call her name/I’m so focused on your future, the degradation has passed. “I wish you wealth, health and insight/Forever young you may pass/Blue Ivy Carter, my angel.” (SF Gate)

His daughter’s birth also motivated Jay to release the new “Glory” dedication record.

“False alarms and false starts/All made better by the sound of your heart/All the pain of the last time/I prayed so hard it was the last time/Your mama said that you danced for her/Did you wiggle your hands for her?/Glory! Glory! Glory! Sorry../Everything that I prayed for/God’s gift, I wish I would’ve prayed more/God makes no mistakes, I made a few/Rough sledding here and there, but I made it through/I wreak havoc on the world, get ready for part 2/A younger, smarter faster me/So a pinch of Hov, a whole glass of Bé” (“Glory”)

A couple days following his and wife Beyonce’s newborn delivery, they released a statement confirming the hype was real.

They released an official statement on Monday, writing, “We are happy to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, born on Saturday, January 7, 2012.” “Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven,” they add in the statement. “She was delivered naturally at a healthy 7 lbs. and it was the best experience of both of our lives.” (The Hollywood Reporter)
