Details on the entrepreneur’s new venture was publicized online Tuesday (January 11).

TMZ has learned Jay-Z — along with his mother Gloria and sister Andrea — secretly invested in a buffalo wing joint in Brooklyn called Buffalo Boss. It’s not just because wings are delicious — Jay’s first cousin Jamar White is one of the owners. The joint is already making a positive impact in the community — recently rewarding outstanding students at a local middle school with FREE FOOD! How awesome is that?! (TMZ)

In late 2010, it was announced that Jay-Z’s popular 40/40 Club sports bar franchise expanded into select nationwide airports.

In the first phase of the agreement, Delaware North Companies Travel Hospitality Services, a global leader in hospitality and food service, will give travelers access to the elite, modern sports bar to watch the game of their choice in an opulent lounge setting, all without leaving the airport. The division of Delaware North Companies operates dozens of national and regional brand restaurants and shops at more than 20 major U.S. airports. (Market Wire)

Outside of investments, Jay recently acquired a new member for his Roc Nation label.

Jay-Z is still building his artist arsenal and recently added 2010 “X-Factor” finalist Cher Lloyd to the roster. However, it wasn’t easy for the helm of Roc Nation to bag the sassy rapper-slash-singer. The UK teen was in the midst of a friendly bidding war between Jay and Black Eyed Peas mastermind will.i.am before she officially inked her deal. (VIBE)

In October, R&B superstar Rihanna announced joining forces with Jay’s Roc Nation.

The singer announced Wednesday (October 20) that she will now be managed by mentor and former Def Jam exec Jay-Z’s Roc Nation company. The chart-ruling singer spilled the beans to The Associated Press, saying in a statement she’s “so excited to take this next step in my career.” The “Only Girl in the World” singer joins songstress Melanie Fiona, spitter Wale and DJ/producer Mark Ronson as other faces handled by the management arm of Hov’s multi-pronged firm.
