Along with the two super stars, Hov and Ye also had pop singer Justin Bieber and movie director Spike Lee in attendance to peep the concert.

Jay-Z and Kanye West have had plenty of celebrity-filled crowds during the U.S. stops on their Watch the Throne tour, but for international shows The Throne are kicking things up a notch. They touched down in Paris Friday night, performing while Beyonce, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kelly Rowland, Justin Bieber and Spike Lee looked on, and “N—as in Paris” producer Hit-Boy crowd surfed and became the second guest to ever join them on stage. Beyonce was absent from The Throne’s London shows (while she was prepping for her four blowout performances at Revel in Atlantic City, we assume) but she made it to Paris where she hung with her girls Gwyneth and Kelly, cheering her husband on. The Throne hyped up the show by performing their “N*ggas In Paris” anthem 11 times.

After the 10th repetition, Kanye took the mic, “Amazing. That was 10 right? You just tied the record Paris. Let me explain something to y’all. Rap music, rock music, stadium music, arena music–nobody does a song more than 10 times. I don’t care who you are, I don’t care which stadium you’re rocking in. Try to do your song more than three times and see what happen!” Then the crowd counted down–10, 9, 8…2, 1, Again! Jigga’s voice resonated in the venue, and Paris rocked the song one last time with love. “Paris you have officially the record of the Watch The Throne tour” screamed Jay. “It’s just different,” Ye concluded. “I love this city” And clearly the city loved them too. Last December, Watch the Throne contributing producer Sham “Sak Pase” Joseph talked to SOHH about the possiiblity of a follow-up to the platinum-selling joint effort.

“Nah, it’s not surprising,” Pase told SOHH when asked if he is surprised about a possible Watch the Throne follow-up releasing sooner than later. “I just heard so much great music and if they wanted to make another album, I think we would all be blown away by it. It’s pretty scary what Jay-Z and Kanye West’s capacity is. This music, it’s very easy for them because coming from a music standpoint, Kanye and the people he has around him and his ear for music, it’s just impeccable. Then you have Jay-Z who understands the power of each word he says on the record. They’re going to mess up anyone’s release schedule at any given point if they drop another album. You’re going to have to push your record back because it’s unfair.” (SOHH)

A few months back, Young Hov hinted at gearing up for a second WTT album.

“It depends on how this thing finishes up,” Jay said in reference to his and Kanye’s current Watch the Throne Tour. “We — I say ‘we’ because I’m in Throne mode — we’re in a great place creatively. You might see a Jay, then Kanye and a Throne album next year. You know, we’re really in a great place creatively. We really found our zone.” (MTV)
