Young Hov’s righthand man Young Guru premiered the exclusive anthem at this month’s annual South By Southwest music event in Austin, Texas.

During Jay-Z’s engineer Young Guru’s DJ set tonight at SXSW 2013, he played a remix of Kendrick Lamar’s good kid, m.A.A.d city joint “B***h Don’t Kill My Vibe,” featuring none other than Hov himself. No word on when this will be officially released, but peep the footage above to listen. Sounds super fresh. (Complex)

On the record, Jigga adds his own fresh lyrics after Kendrick’s witty new wordplay.

“Up in the clouds, me and my spouse,” Jigga raps. “Rumors on the ground getting too loud, can you turn them sh*ts down/Can’t hear myself think/Turnin’ this sh*t on, might spill my drink/And don’t ask for the mink/Runnin’ through that b*tch like it’s my house/All up in the hall at the mall/Told you motherf*ckers all I do is ball/No I don’t remember you, I don’t intend to/Empty my memory bank/It’s a million dollars in it/Baby, Hillary Swank/Next to Hillary….” (Vimeo)

Just last week, Lamar topped MTV’s “Hottest MCs in the Game” list.

All hail king Kendrick. The West Coast rapper has been crowned MTV’s “Hottest MC in the Game.” After much anticipation, the full list was revealed on Thursday night. The “Poetic Justice” hitmaker makes his debut appearance at the top of the list based on a unanimous vote by MTV’s Hip-Hop Brain Trust. The Grammy-nominated 2 Chainz earns the runner-up spot, while last year’s top dog, Rick Ross, falls to #3. (Rap-Up)

Recently, the overnight rap star talked about not rushing back into the studio and enjoying the newfound success.

“No I’m not,” Lamar said in an interview with rap personality Miss Info. “I haven’t locked in to album mode. I write everyday, though. I have ideas all the time. But me going to the studio, locking in and making the next album? Nah. I don’t feel like, I don’t want to force things. I still want to live in this moment. My biggest mistake, right now today, is just not living in the moment and understanding everything that’s going on. Like I told one of those fans out there, you’re family. I still can’t understand that I’m on this stage right now. You feel me? So I’m just trying to stay in the moment.” (Hot 97)
