Along with featuring the trio, “Know About Me” also showcases musician James Fauntleroy.

Virginia Producer-rapper Timbaland recruits Jay Z, Drake, and James Fauntleroy for his new single ‘Know About Me’. The track was first heard at Timbo’s concerts and shows and this afternoon (Nov. 15th) we finally get a listen to the full studio version. ‘Know About Me’ will be appearing on Timbaland’s forthcoming album ‘Textbook Timbo’ due out in 2014. “Got some things on the wrist, Cartier with the diamonds / If this was 10 years ago, would have went diamond” brags Drake on his verse. With an Jay Z intro, quality verse from Drake, and outro vocals from James Fauntleroy, Timbaland has himself a solid single with ‘Know About Me’. (Direct Lyrics)

Last month, footage of Tim dishing out a new Jay and Drizzy track in Paris surfaced.

Timbaland is currently overseas with Hov for the European leg of the Magna Carta World Tour. While they were stopped in Birmingham, U.K., Tim gave the fans a nice treat in the form of a new Jay Z and Drake collaboration. There’s no information on where this track will end up or what it’s for, but from the clip above we can tell it’s nice. We can hear Drake rap, “I just got back home, 40 days on vacation. Know we killing the game, shit is all for the taking……..I’m a star in the making.” Maybe this is for Tim’s upcoming album? Either way, we’re looking forward to hearing the full CDQ sooner than later. Earlier the same month, the mega producer treated fans to a first listen to the record.

A few lucky fans in Birmingham, England had the opportunity to hear of preview of yet another new song between Drake and Jay Z. Producer Timbaland, whose currently on tour with the Brooklyn rapper for his Magna Carter World Tour played a clip of the exclusive song for fans at the NIA Arena on Wednesday night. The song is more uptempo than the duo’s latest collaboration, “Pound Cake/Paris Morton Music 2” off Drake’s latest album, “Nothing Was The Same.” Jay and Drake previously worked together on songs like, “Off That” and “Light Up.” (Enstarz)

After reportedly putting together Shock Value 3 these past few years, recent reports suggested Timbo was rethinking his next album.

Timbaland had been been working on his new album Shock Value 3 for a couple of years. But the super producer is switching up the plans as he has now scrapped the entire project and re-recording it with a new title to go along — Rebirth. He actually announced this a couple of months ago on the HangWith app but it missed our radar. Timbaland has had huge success in recent months, thanks to the release of Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z‘s new albums. And something tells me, he will go for a more Hip-Hop than Pop sound on this one, unlike his last two efforts — Shock Value and Shock Value 2. (HHNM)
