Music couple Jay Z and Beyoncé are out here proving money ain’t a thing. The duo are reportedly looking to drop nearly $100 million on a decked-out California mansion.
According to reports, Jayoncé have their eyes set on a $85 million Los Angeles dream home.
The pair reportedly had a secret viewing of the 57,000-square-foot, French chateau-style home. The house currently belongs to British Formula 1 heiress Petra Ecclestone and her husband, billionaire businessman James Stunt, who purchased it for $85 million in the summer of 2011, according to W Magazine. The rap heavyweight has kept busy as of late making news for a new film project with actor Lin-Manuel Miranda called “In The Heights.”
The Weinstein Company’s Harvey Weinstein, who is producing the movie musical with theatre producer Scott Sanders, announced the news at his February 26 pre-Oscars party, which included a medley of tunes from In the Heights performed by Cynthia Erivo, Christopher Jackson, and Corbin Bleu and introduced by Hamilton’s Miranda. Deadline.com reported in September 2016 that Jay Z and Weinstein had “signed an exclusive first-look deal … to generate movies and scripted and unscripted TV.” (Playbill)
