Music mogul JAY-Z‘s new 4:44 album won’t remain a TIDAL exclusive much longer. New reports claim the project is headed toward other streaming platforms.

According to new gossip coverage, 4:44 will pop up on at least one of TIDAL’s biggest rival sites in the coming days.

A source confirmed that 4:44 will be added to Apple Music/iTunes next week after its one-week exclusivity window on Tidal; the songs also streamed on 160 iHeartRadio stations across the U.S. after 4:44’s release and they will air until midnight on July 1 on the network’s Urban and Rhythmic formats. The exclusive is part of a $200 million deal the carrier signed with Tidal earlier this year. (Billboard)

Reports also suggest 4:44 will eventually land on real retail store shelves.

A source close to the project also said that a physical release is eventually planned, though no timetable has been set yet for that roll-out. That source also confirmed that fans need to sign up for Sprint service in order to get the album if they are not already Tidal subscribers. (Billboard)

Coincidentally, some reports claim TIDAL contractual issues sparked an unexpected split from rap star Kanye West.

We’re told Kanye’s beef with Tidal is twofold — his Saint Pablo album resulted in 1 1/2 million new subscribers to Tidal, for which he was supposed to get a bonus but the company hasn’t paid. Kanye also says Tidal reneged on reimbursing him for music videos. Our sources say Tidal’s position is that Kanye didn’t deliver the videos required by the contract. Kanye’s response … I’ll deliver the videos when you pay me what I’m owed. (TMZ)

On the LP, JAY-Z takes ample shots at Ye on his new “Kill Jay-Z” song.
