A week after being released form the hospital, Janet Jackson has canceled a string of concert dates on her "Rock Witchu" tour due to health related issues.
According to the Associated Press, concerns over the singer’s wellbeing has led to the cancellation of two show over the weekend – one in Greensboro, North Carolina and one in Atlanta – and an upcoming show on Tuesday (October 7) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
While originally making it to her first gig in N.C., a statement from Jackson’s rep said a doctor suggested canceling the singer’s show because it was "evident" she had not fully recovered yet.
Prior to the latest cancellations, she postponed events in both Boston and Philadelphia last week.
As previously reported by SOHH, the multi-platinum selling singer became "suddenly ill" while rehearsing for a performance in Canada and was hospitalized last Monday (September 29) night. She is currently on the "Rock Witchu Tour," her first in seven years.
While details are still scare, Jackson’s publicist reportedly told the AP she is "recuperating."
The next scheduled performance is Saturday, October 11 in Uncasville, Connecticut.
