The “Always Something” collaboration came together through my actual business partner and manager. He reached out to Jadakiss. I’m a huge Jadakiss fan, let alone The Lox especially with what they’ve done in hip-hop.

I wanted to bring forth that lyrical side and make people think. I knew Kiss was going to feel it because it’s talking to the streets. It’s not always about politics. When I spoke to Kiss, we went up there to New York, off the break he told me if the record wasn’t hot, he wouldn’t have jumped on it.

That was off the rip. I just wanted to talk to the streets with this one. It’s always something that’s identifiable to the world.

  1. “if the record wasn’t hot, he wouldn’t have jumped on it.” Kiss… you are my dude. I even believe the Top 5 dead or alive shit sometimes.. but you STAY on whack songs bruh. I’m not mad at you – but you take more pay-for-play garbage features than almost anyone – besides maybe Ghost or Donny – please don’t lie to yourself or us – you have STACKS of shitty features w/ trash artists. Get your money though – you’re also one of the only dudes who gets a pass – cause I know you’re trying to eat – but don’t be delusional bruh

    • Kiss funny. His career has relied on features & collabs wit mad wack niggas. But he still my dog

      • Yeah but what you fail to understand is that these mad wack niggas are paying him 25-50 grand for the verse…and jada kiss loves to rap…it’s business
