Citing DMX‘s past ability to release multiple solo projects within a 12-month time span, Jada dished out his aim to feed the streets sooner and who would likely be on his next LP.

“I’m definitely going back in,” Kiss explained about preparing his next LP. “The D-Block album is wrapped up, I’ma make sure we finish up this Lox album, I’m coming right back though. I think ten months, after X did that time they switched the rule that you gotta wait. I think you gotta wait ten months [before your next album.] So you know, nine or ten months but I’m coming right. Think I’m gonna call it Top 5 Dead Or Alive and I’m only gonna work with [DJ Premier], Alchemist, Swizz [Beatz], Dame Grease, nah mean?” (MTV)

Jada recently discussed his feelings on the Big Apple’s hip-hop making a comeback.

“New York took a hit when everybody started getting money,” Kiss said in an interview. “Everybody was doing alright in record sales. Everybody had some success but then the ego started playing a part. From then, nobody wanted to do songs with each other. N*ggas were on some, ‘I’m not f*cking with that n*gga. I’m not doing that!’ That hurt everybody in a whole and everybody stopped dropping albums. Then wherever, the South, the West came, linked up, and collected that money for certain amount of years. I just feel like this is going to give everybody some sense of inspiration to come. you got Fab[olous] coming. You got more north artists that’s gon’ come back. you know Red [Cafe] is doing his thing. Maino is doing his thing. This gon’ give everybody motivation to put music out, so then, nobody has to sit down and complain.” (Hip Hop Game)

With first-week sales over 100,000, Jada recently talked about his Def Jam debut‘s The Last Kiss‘ initial numbers.

“I ain’t know what to expect now with the way the game is,” Kiss said in an interview. “But I know I got a core fanbase. I don’t think Def Jam expected that, so now we gotta get on the same page. I will say that’s a great number for the climate and the way the music industry is right now and that’s without a big hit at radio…I got longevity, that’s why I got legs…It’s always good when you can say I told you so. It’s always good when you get the last laugh. But I’m just happy to be embraced after all these years, ’cause hip-hop fans’ ears change hourly. I’ma be here for a while.” (XXL Mag)

Aside from his own album, Jada has revealed Diddy‘s aim to release their Lox project via Bad Boy Entertainment.

“The game is f*cked up right now, it’s a jungle,” Kiss explained. “It’s the dog years right now. N*ggas is doing baseball numbers, especially without having a big radio single. The game is f*cked up right now, find you another hustle. Wash cars or something…[Diddy] want that new Lox album on Bad Boy. That’s merely a conversation though, we ain’t take it no where yet. [It could happen,] yeah, we gonna do what we do. We got nothing to do with what the labels doing, we gonna do us baby. So I think it would work.” (57th Ave)
