Along with a hip-hop act, Jada also revealed what soulful music icon he also wants to work with.

Andre 3000 is an artist [I really want to work with],” Jada said in an interview. “I did a lot of collabos. My résumé is incredible. But um, I’m just waiting to finish it up with Andre 3000 and Stevie Wonder. … Gang Starr in general, DJ Premier, Guru, they like the forefathers, ipioneers. When they call, it’s never a problem. It’s just about working out the date to get in the studio for whatever they want done.” (Montreality)

Last month, Andre 3000 spoke on music stars like Lil Wayne and Drake reaching out for joint efforts.

Frank Ocean, he let me hear the song, he said, ‘I just want you to tell a story. Honestly, I don’t care what it is, just tell a story.’ And when I got the track, I just started writing to it and I was just, I’m just happy to be a part of that whole movement and his whole movement because he has become a whole ‘nother kind of icon in today’s age. So I was just happy to be a part of that album. And so all of these collaborations have been blessings for me, I don’t reach out like, ‘Hey, I want you to do this.’ Drake, Lil Wayne, all those guys, they reach out and say, ‘Let’s do this.’ I just want to do good for them, I don’t want to mess their songs up.” (Fuse TV)

In early 2012, Three Stacks credited a lot of hip-hop newcomers for keeping his career alive.

“There’s been a lot of talk on the Internet about an OutKast album and I have to say that as of now, there are no plans for another OutKast album. There’s a lot of music on the horizon. I’ve been living off the excitement of new artists. I’ve been privileged to have these new artists kind of reach out and grab back and say, “Hey, Andre, we want you on this song.” So I’ve been taking those calls and for the last two years, I’ve been doing collaborations. So these new artists have kind of been keeping me alive. I’ve just really been feeding off of that and this year I think I’m planning to do a solo project. I don’t know when it will come out, but hopefully it’ll come out this year. As far as OutKast, I really don’t know if or when that will happen.” (GQ)

A few weeks ago, OutKast’s Big Boi joked about the rap veteran’s busy schedule keeping them from collaborating.

“No, that’s all cleared up now. He could’ve been on any song he wanted to. I gave the motherf*cker about five songs, but I guess he was just too busy,” Big Boi said when asked about Laface Records not authorizing an Andre 3000 collaboration. “He said he had to do some Gillette sh*t [room erupts in laughter]. No for real. He said he had some contractual obligations.” (Village Voice)
