Taking a new approach this time, Kiss decided to lay off recording on top of other artists’ instrumentals.

“I wanted it to be different than The Champ is Here,” Kiss said, referring to the mixtape trilogy that helped make him a fan favorite. “One aspect of the difference is all original music. It’s not me destroying other people’s beats, which you’re used to hearing. It’s just some original cuts, some joints for the ladies, some heartfelt joints for you to zone out to. It takes you on a journey. I call it a good summertime introduction CD.” (MTV)

The 11-track project features guest features from Styles P, Rick Ross and more.

1. “Intro” 2. “Hold You Down” feat. Emanny 3. “Lil Bruh” 4. “How I Feel” 5. “Rock Wit Me” feat. Teyana Taylor 6. “In the Streets” 7. “Lay ‘Em Down” feat. Styles P & Chynk Show 8. “Toast (Intro)” 9. “Toast to That” feat. Fred The Godson 10. “Inkredible (Remix)” feat. Trae Tha Truth & Rick Ross 11. “Gone Too Long” (I Love You)

Slated to drop next week, Jada went the extra mile and executive produced the project.

Jadakiss is back. The Lox MC will be returning to shelves with I Love You (A Dedication To My Fans): The Mixtape on May 24th. The first single “Hold You Down” (Featuring Emanny) was released a few weeks back and will be available via iTunes on May 10. I Love You is executive produced by Jada along with Jay “Icepick” Jackson. Styles P, Rick Ross, Fred the Godson, and Trae the Truth all make cameos, while Bink! is among the beatmakers. (XXL Mag)

Recently, Jada talked about trying to keep up with the Internet Age.

“Times have changed,” Jada explained in an interview. “You almost have to put your whole sh*t out for them to buy it. You see that with Kanye [West], with everybody. You got to leak sh*t–that’s the new sh*t. If they like it, they’ll buy it anyway. But that’s what it is now. You have to do that because so much sh*t is coming out every day, you’ll get swept under the rug before you know it. You have to stay in their ears, on their computer screens, in their iPods, iPads, MacBooks. You got to be there and the only way to be there is to let it out. You have to be in it to win it.” (VIBE)

Jadakiss’ I Love You mixtape is slated to hit stores Tuesday, May 24th.
