Former Def Jam star Ja Rule is proving he is a man of his word after reportedly coming face-to-face with one-time rap rival 50 Cent and proving they are beyond their past feud.
Rule broke the news of sharing a flight with Curtis Jackson on Monday (November 18) via his Twitter page.
“What are the chances me and 50 same flight same row no problems!!! #Grownmansh*t,” Rule tweeted November 18.

A few months ago, former Murder Inc. CEO Irv Gotti admitted Fif ultimately won the back-and-forth dispute.
“Yeah, we took an L but listen, the thing about it is when you’re going through it, you’re going through it,” Gotti explained to radio host Angie Martinez. “I’ll take you back. We was in my office, me and Rule, we in the office and [Funkmaster] Flex was about to play ‘In Da Club,’ [laughs] so Flex plays ‘In Da Club.’ That record was so dope, I looked at Rule and said, ‘We have a major problem.’ [laughs] … We took the L, but you know what? People take L’s. It’s not the L, it’s what you do and if you keep swinging and keep fighting.” (“The Angie Martinez Show”)
Rule also laid out how Fif managed to seemingly bury the Murder Inc. brand.
“It was a lot going on in that time frame,” Rule added. “You got the federal indictment — he was a part of the juggernauts at that moments. Eminem. Dre. They were very, very big in what they do and what we’re doing as well so as we were big on our side, they were big on their side. As everything started to crumble for us, as far as we didn’t have a label as a home anymore — there was a lot of things falling apart for us. It was easy for him to get people to turn on [us]. And there were things behind the scenes that y’all don’t see that made it seem more irrelevant. Like, we couldn’t go to awards shows. They’d make calls. ‘Well, if Murder Inc. is in the building, they’re not going to perform this year. Em’s not going to perform.’ So we would get calls from MTV, BET like ‘Yo, we love you guys, but guys, they’re doing their thing this year and we don’t want y’all in the building.’ So now, as the fans, they’re looking like, ‘Yo, this dude is really crushing them. Prior to their interview, Rule revealed he had no interest in entertaining an outdated feud with the fellow New York native.

Last year, Fif said he no longer had any desire for holding onto a rap feud with Ja.
“My issue with Ja is they were trying to take credit for something,” Fif said in an interview when asked if he could see himself ever reconciling with Rule. “They ain’t really built like that. … Now that I broke them down to nothing, where’s their crew at? [Rick Ross?] You know what, I never had, look at this, I can’t create an actual reason — in my neighborhood, we meet aggression with aggression. … I’m not going to chase you because the outcome is always bad when we go head-to-head. Somebody’s gotta lose. And then the people come after somebody lost. …. See how he figured out how not to have my name, say my name? And then what do I got to say?” (Power 92.3)
