Murder Inc. artist Ja Rule has stepped forward to clear the air on reports and rumors which claim he may have left his wife for a prison cellmate.
Rule jumped onto his Twitter page this week to put an immediate end to the gossip.
“Ok I guess I have to address the idiots these rumors are FALSE LIES made up by some non mf factor website CLOWNS lmao…”
“”@Moniquestl3940: @Ruleyork rumors are started by haters•spread by fools & believed by idiots #vroom” #Rns”
“Twitter gangsters gotta love em lmfao…”
“@BirmzisGrimeTV I said the MTV link not this bullsh*t website… Lol”
“@BirmzisGrimeTV I don’t know let me roll over in my bed and ask her if we’re still together lmao…,” Rule tweeted December 4. (Ja Rule’s Twitter)
The bizarre rumors flooded across the Internet early Wednesday (December 4).
Combating one of the more bizarre rumours of the week, the 37-year-old tackled ‘false lies’ allegedly started by his own spouse, Aisha Atkins, when a website quoted her dropping the bombshell on MTV show Married Life After Prison. ‘He wrote all them love songs and still don’t know how to treat a b***h,’ Atkins was quoted saying in her opening statement on the show. ‘We spent ten-plus years building our marriage but it only took him two to decide he’d rather suck a d*** than be with his wife.’ The Thug Lovin’ rapper was released from prison earlier this year after spending two years locked up for a gun charge, but allegedly shipped out of home straight after. ‘He returned home alright – to get his s*** and leave,’ Atkins exclaimed after allegedly claiming she discovered her husband of 12 years was leaving her for not only a man but his prison cell mate. The remarks allegedly stemmed from a fictional story.
And now a blog called creambmp.com has “hilariously” run some made-up quotes from a fictional MTV documentary called Married Life After Prison. It’s like The Onion if it was written by Tim Westwood. They “joked” that Aisha Atkins had told the filmmakers: “We spent 10 plus years building our marriage but it only took him two to decide he’d rather suck a d*ck than be with his wife” “He returned home alright; to get his shit and leave.” “He wrote all them love songs and still don’t know how to treat a b*tch.” (Holy Moly)
The rap veteran spoke on nearly serving two years on a gun conviction and the worst part about prison last August.
“I guess I’d have to say those nights you’re just locked in your cell, by yourself, and you’re missing out on what’s going on outside. I would call home and I’d be missing birthdays or anniversaries. I’d speak to my homies and they’d be out and about, doing what they doing. You kind of say, “Damn, I’m really locked up, I can’t enjoy the things that are meaningful in my life, I can’t enjoy the small things in life.” You in a situation that you can’t control. Then there were situations like [Superstorm] Sandy and [Hurricane] Irene, where we was getting heavy storms at the house and all the lights and things are down, trees and power lines are down. My family had to pick up and go to a hotel. Those are the situations that I handle when I’m home and my wife had to step up to the plate, play father and mother during those situations. She’s a soldier, so she made it happen, but I’m sure she wishes that I was there. You’re helpless in those situations.” (Complex)
