According to reports, Rule’s new LP will drop at the end of February.

Ja Rule has already suffered a couple of push backs earlier this year and now another one has been written. Originally slated for January 24th, Pain Is Love 2 will now come out on February 28th, 2012, a day before his birthday. The delay is being blamed on the lack of time for properly promoting the album in the US and overseas market. (Hip Hop N More)

Earlier this month, the album’s tracklisting hit the Internet.

1. Fame (Intro) Ft. Leah Siegal 2. Real Life Fantasy ft. Anita Louise 3. Parachute ft. Leah Siegal 4. Superstar (Intro) 5. Superstar 6. Black Vodka 7. Drown ft. Somong & Kenny Dark 8. Never Had Time ft. Jon Doe 9. Strange Days ft. 700 & Ramzo 10. To the Top ft. Kalenna Harper of Dirty Money 11. Pray 4 the Day (Believe) ft. Leah Siegal (Pain Is Love 2)

Prior to its latest pushback, the LP was slated to debut next month.

With a recent leak of one of the tracks “Never Had Time” taken from the new album, it sounds like we might be getting a timid version of the man. But we’ll see. Featuring Leah Siegal and Kalenna Harper from Diddy-Dirty Money, the full album drops on January 24th. (Soul Culture)

Tracks from the album have leaked online including the new “Never Had Time” record.

When Ja Rule isn’t writing somewhat-awkward letters from prison, he’s on the phone with go-to producer 7 Aurelius plotting the release of Pain Is Love 2. The album has obviously been delayed because of dude’s recent incarceration, but the word on the hip-hop Internet streets is that it might drop in January. While that’s interesting and all, I find it slightly more intriguing how Ja and Aurelius are doing their best to keep up with the current music trends. Yeah, it might not make for the best music, but Ja’s latest single, “Never Had the Time,” is the type of track that could easily weasel its way onto the radio. Is that a good thing? Hmm, maybe so, maybe no. (Prefix Mag)

Pain Is Love 2 is slated to hit stores Tuesday, February 28th.
