The cover art is a collaboration with this lady, Amber Vittoria, who we’ve worked with in the past.

She’s been doing my art since the last year and a half since we met her. I just told her the concept. It was kind of her interpretation on it. The Last Winter concept is about transcending where you are but obviously a lot of it is where we were to where we are now, which is financial.

It’s about being able to make money off of music, which has become a reality for me in the past year or so but also just being aware that it’s not the end all, be all.

That’s why the cover art has a screw face to it. It’s almost an allusion of sorts. You got to understand this is what we work for, to be able to provide for ourselves and for the people who work for us and with us and for our families.

It’s also not the only thing. At the end of the day, it’s the passion that we all have foremost. That’s where all of this comes from.

But Last Winter, at the same token, it’s like a capsule of the last year and how I’ve been blessed to take my music across the world and been able to get a record deal and start getting paid for shows and starting to be able to make a living off of this.

That’s kind of what the cover alludes to. It’s about making fulfilling that need to function, so understanding that’s not what makes us.
