Although no longer touring as a collaborative alongside 9th Wonder and Phonte, Pooh assured that fans could look forward to a great hip-hop show.

“They can expect good music, man, good hip-hop,” Pooh said when asked what fans could anticipate from the tour. “[Expect] good performances. It’s something I believe in whole heartedly. It’s different for people when they come out and see me when they’re accustomed to a Little Brother show. Obviously I’m by myself so I do things a little bit different but nonetheless, it’s still performing. It’s still something I work on and I love to see people walking away entertained. I do a little bit of everything [from my catalogue.] I try to cover my bases. I start from the beginning and I go all the way up to today.” (SOHH)

Beginning in Portland, Oregon tonight, Pooh and co-headliner Tanya Morgan will bless the stage at various West Coast venues.

Friday – Jan 21 – Portland, OR @ Backspace (also w/ Freeway & Jake One) Saturday – Jan 22 – Bellingham, WA @ The Wild Buffalo Sunday – Jan 23 – Bend, OR @ Mad Happy Lounge Tuesday – Jan 25 – Santa Cruz, CA @ Moe’s Alley Wednesday – Jan 26 – San Francisco, CA @ 330 Ritch Thursday – Jan 27 – Sacramento, CA @ Blue Lamp Friday – Jan 28 – Santa Ana, CA @ Malones Saturday – Jan 29th – Phoenix, AZ @ Chasers (also w/ Freddie Gibbs) Sunday – Jan 30th – Los Angeles @ On The Rox (2 Dope Boyz)

Prior to gaining a slot on the tour, Little Brother associate/rapper Chaudon asked fans to help raise funds.

“Whats good everyone! I am coming to you with the hopes of your generous donations to sponsor me to get on the road to promote my new album No Excuses. I am currently unable to attend the tour with Rapper Big Pooh & Tanya Morgan due to not being added to the budget by the promoters of that tour. I am looking to raise $1,500 to make it happen. So with your help of donating from as little as $1 up to $10 each & spreading the word, this can get me to the West Coast and be a part of the tour!! The tour begins January 20th, 2011! All donations of $10 or more will receive my entire catalog!! (mp3’s only)” (Statement)

Aside from the tour, Pooh also gave SOHH his reaction to estranged group members 9th Wonder and Phonte recently squashing past differences.

“I found out about [the Phonte and 9th Wonder conversation] moments before Phonte put it up on Twitter. He actually called me and let me know that him and 9th had spoken and [revealed] some of the things they talked about or whatever. It was cool. He just wanted to let me know before the world found out. [I have] nothing but respect for that. As far as my feelings about it, it’s not what people may think. It’s like, “All right, cool” because the one thing people fail to realize or don’t want to realize is that we all had different personal relationships with each other. Me and 9th’s relationship isn’t the same relationship Phonte and 9th had. So even though I’m sure some of the stuff they discussed were Little Brother-related, they probably had some personal things between them that needed to be resolved.” (SOHH Guest Star)
