Hustle Gang's Iggy Azalea is striking back at her alleged ex-boyfriend Jefe Wine over the release of something other than a rumored sex tape.

According to reports, Iggy filed her lawsuit Wednesday (September 17).

The story begins in March 2008, when the pop superstar, born Amethyst Kelly, was a 17-year-old Australian living at a hotel in Houston, Texas. According to a lawsuit filed on Wednesday in California federal court, she was working on her music at the time when she met an older man named Maurice Williams (aka rapper Jefe Wine), who said he was a partner in an oil company. He soon put Azalea up in an apartment, says the complaint. What Azalea didn’t know then, she says, was that Williams was already married with children. (The Hollywood Reporter)

Wine invaded Iggy’s personal property according to these details…

Things turned ugly a year later when Wine stole her entire music catalogue.

Williams followed Azalea when she moved to Atlanta in 2009, according to the lawsuit, and he moved into her house. Around that time, “Williams downloaded the entire contents of Azalea’s personal computer,” including unreleased master recordings. (The Hollywood Reporter)

This week reports suggested Wine may have had legal authority to shop the sex tape footage around.

Hefe Wine says Iggy signed a lengthy agreement with him in 2009 — obtained by TMZ — which gives him exclusive rights to “manufacture, sell, distribute and advertise ‘any’ recording embodying visual images.” Iggy signed the contract to cut records and music videos, but Wine believes all he has to do is put a music bed under the sex tape which he claims would then give him exclusive rights to sell it. (TMZ)

Last weekend reports claimed Iggy’s current NBA boyfriend Nick Young was concerned over the impact the footage could have on her career.

“He hates it on so many levels,” a source close to Young told Philly.com. “If it is true, he doesn’t believe that it is him in the video, he feels terrible for Iggy and what it would do to her career. “Plus, with the NBA season coming about next month and with him being on the Lakers, he knows so much off-court attention will be brought to it and him, and that is a nightmare scenario for him,” the source added. 1. I remember when he was Christian rapper signed to Evander Holyfied back in the day. I’m really disappointed that he became a statutory rapist of an immigrant.
