You can do what you want to do. I’ve been in this game for a minute and a lot of my fans would say, “Tiff, you ought to not talk about sex or anything really raunchy.” So I remember doing a skit where I had to talk about sex and, believe it or not, the stereotype of females in this game is that we’re easy and have slept with everybody but we haven’t.

I really try to go against that grain. I’m going to embrace being sexual, I’m going to embrace my female traits, I’m going to embrace the fact that I do have sex but that’s not going to be what I’m trying to sell.

Some do try to sell that because it is a lane for females, so I don’t knock that, it’s just that for me, I’m not trying to restrain from being explicit because of what people may think about me or because of how men may try to portray me.

Right now people will say I’m a gold digger. That’s why I flipped it and named my new mixtape Goal Diggers because I’m not settling for nobody. Whatever I do and bare, I don’t mind. If I want to just walk out here with my a** hanging out, that’s what it’ll be.

I’m confident in my skin. It ain’t because of what somebody thinks, it’s just who I am. I don’t like to sell naked or walk around half-dressed or just being seen in a magazine naked. That’s not me but I will play with that idea. I might wear something real tight, it might be see-thru from time to time.

There’s a difference between class and chessy. I’m going to be real sexy, I love my curves, everything about me is real. I love how small my waist is and how big my a** is. Everybody in St. Louis, we’re just built like that. I don’t mind embracing it but I’m not going to cover up just because of how people may take it. I don’t give a d*mn. If it’s something I want to do, I’m going to do it.

I’m just not comfortable baring all of that. I don’t.

Tiffany Foxx attributes Lauryn Hill, Queen Latifah, Lil Kim, Eminem and Adele as being her irreplaceable musical influences. A reflection of her personal style, Tiffany Foxx’s music maintains the description of “street couture.” In her music, you can hear her love for fashion and style and her story of struggle and sacrifice. Having claimed personal triumph over tragic events in her past such as sexual assault and other personal struggles, Tiffany Foxx refuses to allow any worldly force to keep her from realizing and living her dreams. Regardless of disappointing deals with past managers and shady industry characters, she remains focused. Having overcome both professional and personal obstacles over the years, the dominating theme for Tiffany Foxx in life and music is that of pride, independence, perseverance and humility.
