Detailing his interest in seeing it come together, Khaled also said he would be first in line to contribute.

“I would love to see a Rick Ross, Lil Wayne and Drake album, you know what I’m saying,” Khaled said in an interview. “I would love to be a part of that, you know what I’m saying? Maybe that’ll happen one day.” (Hip Hollywood)

Ross also offered his take and said he shares a close bond with Drizzy and Weezy.

“It’s a possibility,” Ross added, referring to a joint album. “Those my brothers. You know, we were in the studio with Drizzy last night til six, seven in the morning. So, of course, Lil Wayne, that’s the family right there. I think the moves that’s being made in music right now is just big in music and it’s good just to see black executives making those power moves such as Watch the Throne and the pop up stores, the VMAs — they’re being strategic. That’s big.” (Hip Hollywood)

In late August, Drake dished out possible plans to link up for a joint LP with Ricky Rozay.

“[One person] I’ve discussed doing projects with is obviously Lil Wayne,” Drake said in an interview. “And one of the people of the people I enjoy rapping with most in this business is Rozay [Rick Ross]. Me and him have talked about potentially doing something after our albums comes out. I just love making songs with him. Every time we make a song it just seems to be something I love listening to after the fact when I’m in my car.” (Entertainment Weekly)

Recently, Cash Money Records co-founder Baby compared the chemistry Weezy/Drizzy share to that of Jay-Z and Kanye West.

“It’s older versus younger,” Baby said in an interview. “I listened to a few songs [off Watch The Throne] and it feels like an older feel to me. I think with Drake and Wayne, they young. They young cats. You got 23 and 28. Then you got Jay-Z and them, who are older and really on their way out the game. Then you got Wayne and Drake and them, who are still youthful […] So, it’s two different types of music all the way across the board. But what they’re doing is great — I think it’s great for the game, great for the business, great for retail as a whole. I just think when Wayne and Drake get together is going to be something real special also because we more youthful.” (XXL Mag)
