On a daily basis, I gotta have my weed. That’s first and foremost.
I’ve got to have good food. That’s a must. When I say eating good, it doesn’t have to be expensive. It has to be prepared well, it has to be healthy and it has to be fulfilling.
I have to have my comfort zone which would be my studio. Of course we have a label studio but I also have my own studio. My main man who produced “Um Hmm,” OG, it’s his studio. I come here and just sit still. I might just watch a movie there. I’m big into movies.
Then I’ve got to have one or two of these girls that call my phone. It’s just all of my components. I need it systematically.
I get it, I get my vegetables, wake and bake. I check my e-mails so the iPhone is important. I check and see if someone sent me beats. I always blast my e-mail out once a month so I always get e-mails from guys with new beats.
I keep my team always in my itinerary. That’s before I leave the house.
My first stop once I leave home is the studio. It’s the equivalent of being my office. I like to get some good food and then put a good movie on. When I’m looking at something or occupied, I’m able to daydream and I come up with the most creative sh*t. It might just be a marketing strategy.
