[Each week, SOHH asks two entertainment personalities to name their Top 5 rappers of all-time. To make things tricky, we've created a "Hall of Fame" of emcees (see right) who are universally respected and therefore may not be mentioned. After Governor unleashed his fave five, Grand Hustle's Big Kuntry King brings out his top choices.]
Big Kuntry King. I don’t give a d*mn what you think about me. I think I’m the sh*t.
T.I. I have to put my boy T.I. in there. I got Tip on there just because he’s an underrated rapper to me. He’s got lyrics out the a**. I have to put him in there becuase he’s not in that SOHH Hall of Fame Top 10.
Gucci Mane. I like him for what he does. I got Gucci because he’s an all-out street, street, street dude. It’s more of a feeling.
Kendrick Lamar. I’m going to put the boy Kendrick Lamar into the SOHH Hall of Fame because he’s a spitter at what he do.
Juicy J. Last but not least I have to put my boy Juicy J in the Hall of Fame. I’ve been rocking with him for a minute. Why not? He’s got the range. He’s been doing it since I was a kid and he’s still got it. I’ve got to put him in the Hall of Fame. That means a lot because people put artists in the Hall of Fame because of the lyrics but I put them in there just for surviving so long and through these different genres and age groups. You got a whole ‘nother class listening to him. It’s like he’s a high school mascot. That sh*t never gets old.
