Havoc Preps Koch Debut, New Album January 2009

Mobb Deep‘s Havoc has hit the studio to offer fans his upcoming album Hidden Files set to be released next month.

Known for his Mobb Deep partnership and his heavy production skills, the Queens, New York-bred emcee will make his Koch Records debut following 2007’s The Kush.

Packed with 13 tracks, the upcoming disc is currently being led by the single “Street’s Ain’t Going Nowhere” and other tracks like “Shorten Ya Story” plus “The Illest.” Providing an entire disc filled with self-made beats along with contributions from The Alchemist, Hav tagged Prodigy, Rell and D-Block‘s Styles P for the new project.

Hidden Files is currently scheduled to hit stores Tuesday, January 27.

In related news, Havoc recently spoke with SOHH to discuss Prodigy’s absence, as his partner has been locked away for a three and a half years.

“His health is good as far as I know,” Hav told SOHH. “He’s in good spirits. He wants to get the f*ck out but he’s feeling good. We just want to hurry up and get him home and get back to normal life.”
