Havoc Admits Lying About Twitter Hacker, Confesses To Dissing Prodigy [Video]

Months after Mobb Deep denied speculation claiming Havoc publicly called out longtime friend Prodigy on Twitter, the rapper/producer has finally admitted to being behind the tweets.

Although Hav would not elaborate on the disses, he did say any Mobb Deep-related projects were on hold.

“The tweets is crazy,” said Havoc. “So it was you?” asked Creekmur. “Yeah,” said Havoc. “And I was speaking of a stand point of being mad, but still being truthful of how I felt – but it was just the wrong thing to do at that time.” As for the state of Mobb Deep, Havoc says they are taking a break.”Right now Mobb Deep is on hiatus, indefinitely…until things get hashed out,” Havoc told AllHipHop.com. “Eventually, the real story will come out; there’s two sides to every story. Only one has been spoken for.” (All Hip Hop)

In April, Hav claimed someone stole his cell phone and posted the anti-Prodigy remarks.

“Just getting back into NY after my Easter weekend with family and friends in Jersey. I left my phone at a gas station yesterday evening while on my way to Jersey after a glorious Knick’s game. To all Mobb Deep fans: it’s business as usual! It’s Mobb Deep all day!!! My twitter account @THEREALHAVOC will be down until further notice. The only other real account is @PRODIGYMOBBDEEP. Ignore the rest. One!” (Statement)

Prodigy later admitted they milked the speculation behind a perceived bogus beef.

“I can’t even tell you how it happened,” P said in an interview. “When we got down to the bottom of it, we knew what was going on, we knew it was all bogus, so we kept kinda quiet. We ain’t say nothing about it. We ain’t get up on Twitter right away and say it’s bogus. So that’s probably why people think he set it up or something. We just waited for a minute — that wasn’t Hav [tweeting]. … Me and Hav have a lot of fights and arguments, and when we fight we laugh about it and tell people on the radio and all of that — it’s nothing to be ashamed of or try to hide, especially with me and Hav.” (Hot 97)

The tweets directly called out Capital P and questioned his street credibility.

“prodigy a hider not a rider,” a tweet read from Hav’s page.

“nothing hacked P h*mo y’all no hack this havoc”

“P IS HIDING!!! IM GONNA SHOW U P GETTING KNOCKED OUT!!!!!!!!!!!! WATCH HE TRY TO DODGE ME!!”

“THINK ABOUT IT… HOW COULD HE SAY,,, QB MURDERERS ??? LETS DO A ONE ON ONE!!!!! ME AND P!!! HE SO BUTTTT HE WILL AVOID!!!!” (Havoc’s Twitter)
