Days after New York rapper Saigon threatened he would punch Rick Ross if they met face-to-face, Maybach Music Group's Gunplay has lashed back and encouraged him to take his shot.

Along with taunting Sai, Gunplay also questioned the “Yard Father’s” true motivation for targeting high profile artists like Ricky Rozay and 2 Chainz.

“I got a son too, Ross got a daughter, Ross got a son. I dare you to do that sh-t.” he says. “To each his own, if that’s how he feel… try to punch him in the face. You saying this [but] you’re tryna punch somebody in the face? I’m sayin’, what’s wrong with dog? I don’t know what’s up with that sh-t. … Why you goin’ in on Ross? Go in on everybody else. You just singling out two people ‘cuz they the hottest n-ggas in the game right now. Why you singling them out? Everybody has kids, what makes yours so special?” (HHW)

This week, Sai came clean on going at Ross and said he only uses high-profile artists’ names to get attention.

“Ill be the sacrificial lamb…. But Im gonna wake some muthaf*ckas up…. Somebody gotta do it….,” Sai tweeted November 14th.

“Its not about them 2 n*ggas. Them n*ggas is pawns in a grand scheme. I got a problem with ANYBODY who promotes destruction to our future..”

“Im tired of people telling me to hold my tongue or retract statements because its gonna hurt my career, Im not doing that sh*t no more…”

“And I dont have any personal issues with anybody at all, I just say n*ggas names when I need a headline to draw attn to what Im saying…” (Saigon’s Twitter)

A day prior, the rapper accused select hip-hop artists of releasing hurtful music to the youth.

“That’s behind me, you know what, if they don’t change the message though, for real, I’m on a whole new beef, man,” Sai said in an interview. “[Who would I want to punch right now?] Rick Ross. I want to punch everybody, man. Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, everybody who’s putting detrimental music for children, man, because these companies market the music to children, and y’all know that. … This [music] is marketed to children and we know that. I’ve got kids, man. I’m not trying to have to battle with my own kid because she’s influenced by big booty [girl]. I did ‘106 & Park’ the other day, and I was so sad to see these little young girls spitting the lyrics and some of the stuff that was coming out their mouths and they’re 13 or 14, and they’re talking about all of this. I’m like, ‘God d*mn, yo, who’s responsible for all this? … It ain’t just pin-pointing Rick Ross and 2 Chainz and them n*ggas, because everybody’s doing it. Put them all on a dart board and throw the dart.” (“The Breakfast Club”)

In May, Sai talked to SOHH and shared similar issues in relation to mainstream rap talent.

“You can put all this sh*t on your site because I don’t give a f*ck. I don’t give a f*ck because at this point, I’ve made up my mind. I made up my mind that I’m taking a whole different approach. … Rick Ross and all these n*ggas rapping about drug dealing, all the sh*t that f*cks up the black community, they’re not gonna be able to make no money. I’m gonna shut all their money down. Why ya’ll supportin’ a n*gga that promotes the destruction of our community? Why are you doin’ that? Why would you let this n*gga thrive and we don’t know where our next jobs are coming from? He’s rapping about selling kilos of cocaine and selling drugs. This is what he’s about, this whole lifestyle saying he’s so rich and he eats shrimp every night, and ya’ll support this sh*t? and ya’ll broke and poor and your family’s about to get kicked out. That’s our hit son! That’s his hit. Nobody knows the words to this song, all they know is “ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass, ass” [background noises]. We don’t care about “ass, ass, ass, ass,” but this is the society we livin’ in right now. So it’s like alright.” (SOHH)
