Maybach Music Group's Gunplay is not letting up off last weekend's BET Hip Hop Awards brawl with 50 Cent's entourage by emphasizing just how dangerous it is to mess with him.
Adding more details to what reportedly went down, Gunplay turned things up a notch with some violent talk.
The rapper says 50 Cent WAS involved in the action … but was “hiding behind security.” Gunplay says he was trying to “break his f*ckin’ neck.” Gunplay says he did manage to beat down one of the guys in 50’s entourage — “kicked one of their fat-asses … kicked them off in the dirt.” Gunplay says cops then rushed in and sprayed him with mase. Gunplay — who’s friends with Rick Ross — says his fight had nothing to do with Rick’s altercation with Young Jeezy‘s crew at the BET Awards … but explains, “We just goin’ at it with everybody … let’s go kill ’em all.” Doesn’t sound like he was joking … Gunplay told us, “If you’re playin’ with me, you’re playin’ with fire … might get gunned down, ya never know.” (TMZ)
Yesterday, Gunplay broke his silence on what exactly went down in Atlanta.
“First of all, I’m not going to say the donkey’s name ’cause I ain’t gonna ruin a career that’s already ruined,” Gunplay said. “We’re going to call him donkey because he’s the donkey of the day. The donkey walks with eight other donkeys — I was getting ready to go catch my ride, police told me I couldn’t leave the trailers — I turn around and see the donkey with eight other donkeys and it was either me jump the barrier and run or stand, pull up my pants and knuckle it out with the donkey — he walks up to me, nodded at one of the donkeys and one of the donkeys set it off and we rumbled — the pepper spray came — [it was] that man security. Get outta here, man, man got security around him, man. … I was by myself like I usually am.” (“The Breakfast Club”)
He also promised things would have turned out differently if the incident went down in his hometown.
“I ended up in handcuffs,” Gunplayed added. “I made a few calls and sh*t like that. Ain’t nobody touching MMG, man. Ain’t nobody touching me, my face is fine, everything is fine. N*ggas is donkeys and as you can see — I jumped on them like a lion. … I don’t shake hands like the other folks. I don’t shake hands — if that would have been Miami, everybody would have been laid out.” (“The Breakfast Club”)
Reports of the messy altercation hit the Internet late Saturday night.
During Saturday’s (September 29) taping for BET’s 2012 Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta Rozay and the Snowman reportedly got into a shoving match backstage before the scuffle spilled outside into the parking lot. Shots were fired and at least one man was said to be arrested. That’s not all. Multiple sources who witnessed the fray confirmed to MTV News that Ross’ protégé Gunplay was also involved in fisticuffs with members of 50 Cent’s G-Unit camp. Gun was seen with visible wounds and a witness told us that the Miami MC was put into handcuffs and detained, but a separate source close to Gunplay told us that he was not arrested. (MTV)
