Along with increasing his sexual activity, Gunplay said he has used the free time for more positive things.

“Being on house arrest really is a blessing for me,” Gunplay tells us … “This has helped me slow down and not want to do negative things anymore.” He adds, “This is a life-changing eye-opener for me that I need to just slow down and do right.” Gunplay — who’s still facing charges of aggravated assault and armed robbery with a firearm — says he’s passing the time by working on his album, playing video games and bangin’ chicks … which is a HUGE change from how he entertained himself while he was behind bars. “One main difference from house arrest instead of jail is that I can still get sex … which is a wonderful thing. Although in jail I was still f**king Corporal Mary Palmer and her five sisters.” (TMZ)

Last month, the MMG member made headlines after getting freed on bond.

Rapper Gunplay was given a $150,000 bond and house arrest on Monday in connection to the robbery of man at Miami tax business, his attorney said. “The state did not prove that Mr. Morales was a flight risk or a threat to the community,” said his attorney Michael Grieco in an email statement. “He should be home with his family shortly. This is first step in clearing his name so he can continue his emerging music career.” (NBC Miami)

Around mid-October, footage of Gunplay’s actual crime sprouted online.

Rapper Gunplay PULLED A FIREARM on his accountant during a meeting in April in an explosive fit of rage … and the entire incident was captured by surveillance cameras. Gunplay allegedly stole a cell phone and a gold chain during the incident … and was later charged with armed robbery. He turned himself in to Miami-Dade Police earlier this week. Gunplay — real name Richard Morales Jr. — also faces a second charge of aggravated assault with a firearm. According to the rapper’s attorney, Gunplay could face life in prison if convicted on both counts. (TMZ)

Footage of the MMG member turning himself into local authorities also hit the ‘net a day prior.

It was a somber day on Thursday when Maybach Music Group rapper Gunplay turned himself in to the Miami-Dade Police Department on a May warrant stemming from a robbery. While the Carol City Cartel rapper didn’t say much, in an exclusive video that MTV News has obtained of Gunplay turning himself in, the emotions are written all over his face. Gun, dressed in a white dress shirt and black dress pants, with a red and green Gucci belt, exits a white SUV with his lawyer and a few loved ones on his way toward a Miami police precinct. The Miami-Dade Police Department confirmed to MTV News that on Thursday, the Rick Ross protégé turned himself in and now faces armed robbery, assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault charges and is currently being held with no bond. The incident most likely happened in May, when the warrant was originally issued for Gunplay’s arrest, but it is unclear at the time. (MTV)
