According to YT, someone has hacked Gucci’s Twitter page and suggested it could be a disgruntled artist or former girlfriend.

“@gucci1017. Eh this gucci brother sum1 hack brah twitter. Yall tr y sabotage brah. Dat messed up let gucci b. GOD kno d truth. Hackers,” YT tweeted September 9.

“14h #guwop dnt know if its a mad artist or ex-girl friend …dz folks evil. @gucci1017.”

“@yungniggabj these niggas been pump faking bro they know we gone stay real always” (Young Throwback’s Twitter)

Back in June, Gucci claimed someone hacked into his Twitter account.

“Most of the time. I’m heavily involved with my Twitter page. A lot of things come out that are just promotional, but if it seems like I said it, it’s more than likely I put it on there,” Gucci said when asked about his Twitter activity. “[Did I tweet Amanda Bynes?] Hell naw! Somebody done hacked my damn Twitter like three or four times. I don’t got no opinion on Amanda Bynes cause I don’t know her and never had heard of her. I don’t know what she did or what she didn’t do, but I didn’t tweet her. They say my Twitter was hacked. Somebody has tweeted Mac Miller off my Twitter, Soulja Boy, and even Miley Cyrus. They just have hacked into my Twitter, they do it a lot of time, ain’t nothing I can do. I changed my password and they just go hard and get in it. They always just tweet celebrities on some groupie stuff. It’s unfortunate.” (The FADER)

A month prior, the rapper’s estranged protégé Waka Flocka Flame said he did not believe the hacker claims.

“I don’t think I’m going to see him in the streets, the sh*t I’m doing. … Mentor? Like, dude said, I ain’t going to go against him — I feel like nobody helped me do sh*t. Not my mama, not Gucci, my first album, Gucci ain’t even on it, period. … I don’t know what secret feelings that man got,” Waka said in an interview. “From my personal opinion it gotta be jealousy or envy or something. [I heard he said his Twitter got hacked?] I guess God hacked it.” (“The Combat Jack Show”)

Flocka made similar comments earlier in the year and explained why he would not buy into the Twitter excuses.

Flocka isn’t buying it. “Nah, that Twitter wasn’t hacked because we had a conversation before that. Real aggressive words like, ‘N—a let’s get up, let’s do this,’ ” Waka said when he appeared on “RapFix Live” on Wednesday (March 27). Waka didn’t reveal the details of that “real aggressive” conversation and was baffled as to why Gucci would label him disloyal. “I don’t know. Honest to God truth, I don’t know because I’m the loyalist person you could ever see. I took on a man’s beef, risked my life, hung out the window, risked my freedom. I never backed in a corner,” he said, referencing his involvement in Gucci Mane and Young Jeezy’s beef. “To my knowledge, it can’t be nothing but jealously or something because there is nothing I did disloyal.” (MTV)
