Released early Friday (May 10), Gucci treats fans to a new tune called “Darker” as he puts together his long-awaited Traphouse 3 album.

Gucci Mane is fresh out the clink and tonight drops his first new music since being out. Not only is “Darker” the first song since he has been out, but it also features the most recent signee to Bricksquad, Chief Keef. As you might expect Sosa & Guwop bring out all the levels of the trap gospel on this cut. Gucci’s Traphouse 3 is dropping soon. (Free On Smash)

On the record, Mane makes a brief reference to rap mogul Jay-Z.

“The n*ggas ’round me drink lean, not water/I could never hold a job down like my father/But I can hold the block and push the Roc, Shawn Carter/ B*tches on my d*ck ’cause my skin real darker/Got a yellow b*tch and a Devil Wears Prada/Got the narcs on me, say my car tail got bothered/Big fish in little pond, get swallowed” (“Darker”)

Opting out of a press release or vlog, Gucci announced his Keef partnership news via Twitter page this week.

“Chief Keef newest member of Bricksquad 1017 bmg gbe mpa #turnup pic.twitter.com/UWf6CPiylO,” Gucci tweeted May 8th. (Gucci Mane’s Twitter)

Keef also wasted no time and confirmed the news with a series of Gucci-related photos.

After spending weeks behind bars, Gucci Mane tasted freedom last week.

Rapper Gucci Mane has just been released from jail in Georgia after spending nearly three weeks behind bars, TMZ has learned. As we reported, Gucci was arrested April 13th for a probation violation. He’s been in jail since. Gucci’s attorney, Drew Findling, tells us, the probation violation was triggered by a March 25th incident at an Atlanta nightclub … when Gucci allegedly bottled a clubgoer in the head, causing a massive gash. Gucci was charged with aggravated assault in connection with the incident. That case is still pending. He’s due in court later this month. (TMZ)
