Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane must be taking notice of former affiliate Waka Flocka Flame‘s moves this week as he has now reached out to offer some words of encouragement to troubled Hollywood actress Amanda Bynes.
Gucci jumped onto his Twitter page late Tuesday (May 28) night to big up Bynes.
“You must be doing it right @AmandaBynes,” he tweeted. (Gucci Mane’s Twitter)
Coincidentally, Waka reached out to the troubled former child television star a day prior.
“@AmandaBynes when people hate and the media lies……. That means you popping #FlockaFacts,” he tweeted May 27th. (Waka Flocka Flame’s Twitter)
Both Gucci and Waka’s comments came shortly after Amanda issued an extensive statement claiming she was the victim of fake diss tweets aimed at R&B singer Rihanna.
“@matthewnewcomen: @AmandaBynes You made the ny post! Bashing riri? http://t.co/PRO5kz7bD7 I saw a bunch of mocked up tweets about me bashing Rihanna in my mentions. I’m followed by so many people that someone is always mocking up fake tweets so I feel the need to address them! Rihanna and I met and I’m sure we’ll be in a music video together one day! That’s one of the mocked up images, they took photos of me from outside and morphed them onto someone else’s body. I am allergic to marijuana and alcohol but I smoke tobacco. Why does Rihanna smoke weed and not get in trouble for it but I smoke tobacco and people think I’m on drugs? I refuse to be treated like someone I’m not, which is why I fought for myself and am suing everyone involved. I don’t need to go to rehab. There is never a drug or alcohol in my system! I’m sick of all the lies! What would you do if someone accused you of things you didn’t do and yet you still had to be in jail at all over it!” (Twit Plus)
This week, the Atlanta rapper talked about his break-up with Waka and said they would eventually iron things out.
“I’m just working on my Brick Squad group album which will drop this summer. It’ll be me, PeeWee Longway, Young Thug, Dolph and of course Chief Keef. I even got songs with Waka on there. I’m just gonna drop a collection of all the best songs we’ve been making. I dropped a mixtape for every artist on my label, so now I feel like it’s just time to put our album together and show everybody the chemistry we got together. [Waka?] There was more of a miscommunication and things got misconstrued. But we got too much of a good thing. Whatever we got to work out, we always work it out.” (XXL Mag)
