West Coast rapper Game recently spoke on his wife-to-be Tiffney Cambridge and why she would prefer to see him hanging up the microphone for good to take on a more common career.

In Game’s perspective, she would accept a salary cut just to see the rapper in another profession.

“She would rather me be a fireman, even if I had to go sleep at the firehouse three nights a week. She’s rather me be a policeman, even if it means I might die every night I go out to work,” Game told MTV News of his lady, his co-star in VH1’s upcoming reality series “Marrying the Game.””She’d rather me be a trash man, even if it meant picking up sh– and shoveling dirt all day, than a rapper.” (MTV)

If all goes accordingly, Game’s “Marrying the Game” will premiere later this month.

VH1 continues to deepen its bond with celeb relationships, bowing “Marrying the Game” at 9:30 p.m. Nov. 19. Reality show follows rapper the Game as he prepares to marry fiance and high school teacher Tiffney Cambridge. Cabler has established itself in the celeb dating spectrum with unscripted “Celebreality” programming lineup. Shows under that reality umbrella have included dating competish skeins such as “Flavor of Love” and “My Antonio,” along with quirky celeb tag-along shows “Strange Love” and recently canceled series “Ev and Ocho.” “Marrying the Game” is created and exec produced by 51 Minds’ Cris Abrego, Christian Sarabia, Rabih Gholam and Ben Samek. Jill Holmes, Kristen Kelly and Jeff Olde are exec producing for VH1. (Variety)

In September, the former G-Unit member admitted money played a key role in doing reality television.

“We got a good lil’ deal, we got d*mn near a mil, so that’s what really made me do it, it’s that wifey kept complaining about, you know, she’s a school teacher, she makes a good six figures but she wanted some more money, man, so she talked me into doing it and she got her money and didn’t really care about my end. She kept most of the money and left me with about $100 grand. She got about $900 [thousand]. So yeah, that’s how it happened.” (“Jenny Boom Boom TV”)

In late July, reports of the reality show getting put back on hit the Internet.

Talk about a roller coaster of emotion — TMZ has learned, The Game’s wedding is BACK ON … despite being canceled just last week. As we reported, Game’s fiancee Tiffney Cambridge pulled the plug on the wedding last Thursday — and the rapper said it was all his fault, tweeting, “The rumors are TRUE. The wedding is OFF. It’s not her fault, it’s mine! She’s a GREAT woman.” But now, we’re told the couple is giving things another shot and has decided to resume their wedding plans. According to sources, the new wedding date is in August. As for the reality show that was supposed to cover the nuptials — we’re told that’s back on too. (TMZ)
