West Coast rapper Game recently addressed his physical altercation with G-Unit's 40 Glocc and said the only thing which kept him from ending the fellow California emcee's life was jail.

Game also confirmed 40’s recent remarks of other associates getting in on the beatdown.

Game just called in to Power 99’s Cosmic Kev … and said one of his friends attacked 40 Glocc AFTER he punched the rapper during the initial encounter this past weekend. Game says the 2nd attack happened after he had already left the scene … fearing the cops were on the way. Game also explains why he went after 40 in the first place — saying he believes 40 started a Twitter account posing as Game’s oldest child … and had used the account to trash The Game. Game admits he was looking to pick a fight with 40 on the day of the encounter … and says the only reason he stopped his brutal assault on the guy is because he didn’t want to kill him or put him in a coma … “because then I’d get 25 to life.” (TMZ)

This week, 40 Glocc said Game altered the leaked fight footage to enhance his street credibility.

“Everybody know I don’t go out like that,” Glocc told radio host Bootleg Kev. “I’m obviously held down at gunpoint, you know, it is what it is. I got jumped, all that footage is edited. I got jumped like three times. They sliced up footage of the edit, they made sure they cut everybody out that was jumping. But if you look at it, you see the feet, you see the people they was clipping the scenes. … Dealing with street stuff, you just gotta take it for what it is. But it’s not street stuff no more when you’re taking it and want to take it viral to boost your image like you punking somebody. He knows in my natural state, when I was ready to fight back, they rushed me again. … It was all them swining on me right there. It is what it is — it was really nothing I could do with that. But as far as the streets, he took it from being street when he took it viral and tried to use it to boost his image as far as him punking somebody.” (Power 98.3)

A few days ago, 40 said he had no intention of getting the cops involved in their beef.

“I was more shocked the b*tch-a** n*gga chased me down with the pistol and didn’t squeeze,” 40 said in an interview. “I had to talk the n*gga up out of it’ … Me, I don’t give a f*ck; I ain’t pressing no charges — that sh*t ain’t nothing. You gotta take an L in certain situations. … You gotta get ready for the repeat. … Thank God the n*gga didn’t have a tad bit of me in him — I’d be dead right now.” (Vlad TV)

Footage from the physical assault surfaced online earlier this week.

The Game has since leaked footage of the altercation to WorldStarHipHop.com, showing him chasing and punching his Southern Cali rival, all while recording it on his iPhone. “You gonna put a n**** on the Internet now, n****. You gone put a n**** on the Internet?” an angry Game yells at 40 Glocc in the footage, while people in the background ask him to “let it go.” “Oh, you squaring up? You squaring up, huh?” he continued, before throwing a punch and filming. “Look at me 40 Glocc. Look at 40 Glocc y’all.” (Baller Status)
