West Coast rapper Game was rushed to a hospital this week after severely injuring his hand during the recording of a "Purp & Yellow" music video shoot in Los Angeles.
Details on what went down landed online Saturday (January 15) morning.
The Game was rushed to the hospital Thursday night after a guitar-smashing stunt went horribly wrong — leaving the rapper with a giant bloody gash in his finger — and TMZ has obtained pics of the accident! It all happened in Downtown L.A. during a music video shoot with Snoop Dogg, DJ Skee, Ron Artest, and Matt Barnes — Game was supposed to smash a guitar during the song, but we’re told the rapper smashed it a little too hard … because a jagged guitar piece sliced his finger open like a baked potato. Game — real name Jayceon Taylor — booked it to the hospital as soon as he got the bleeding undercontrol … and his doctor must have had an awesome sense of humor … because we’re told he left the rapper in stitches. The Black Wall Street leader confirmed the accident and provided details, including pictures, via Twitter.

The rapper appears in a West Coast themed remix of Wiz Khalifa‘s “Black & Yellow” hit.
We won’t go so far as to call Pittsburgh MC Wiz Khalifa (hometown represent!) a genius just yet. But he does appear to be having quite a moment with his Top 10 smash “Black And Yellow.” Case in point: YouTube 9-year-old sensation Lyrikkal and her sassy homage video “Pink And Purple.” Oh, you want more? How about Snoop Dogg and Game’s Los Angeles Lakers-leaning “Purp And Yellow”? Outside of music, Game recently made headlines for allegedly getting into a fight with fellow West Coast rapper Ras Kass.
Apparently, the two spitters ran into each other in the bathroomprior to the scuffle. Says Ras Kass, “He was saying, ‘Hey, what’s up?’ and kissing my a**. If he had a problem with me, he could have talked to me in the bathroom. Game’s stories never add up. When you cross-examine him just ask him didn’t ya’ll see each other in the bathroom?” The tension escalated in the club when allegedly Game had an issue with a friend of Ras Kass. “I was telling my boy like, ‘not in here, let’s not do this here,'” he said. “I’m not going to be responsible for f*cking up a New Years Eve’s party. I already told him I’m not trippin’ off you in here. Then I said you lied the first time.” Ras Kass was referring to the last time the rappers clashed back in September, which resulted in a few diss tracks. (XXL Mag)
