West Coast rapper Game has crashed his own wedding by calling off plans to walk down the aisle a week before marrying longtime girlfriend Tiffany Cambridge.
The former G-Unit member hopped on Twitter to confirm the speculation and nixed wedding hype are real.
“The rumors are TRUE. The wedding is OFF. It’s not her fault, it’s mine ! She’s a GREAT woman, I just wasn’t man enough 2 see it through.,” he tweeted July 19th.
“Important message to all men: If you’re lucky to have 1/2 of the woman I had… Appreciate her & do everything necessary to keep her happy !”
“I am truly sorry & apologetic to my family, friends & EVERYONE that this has affected & inconvenienced.”
“Not everyone has a happy ending.” (Game’s Twitter)
Speculation on the wedding getting called off developed earlier this week.
Nine months ago, Game was so excited about popping the question to his longtime girlfriend Tiffney Cambridge that the L.A. rapper staged an elaborate surprise at the elementary school where she worked. The two were set to wed on July 28, with a reality TV series reportedly based around the nuptials, but this week the couple called off the engagement suddenly. This week, without further details, a message was posted on the couple’s wedding website saying the ceremony was off. “We regret to inform you that the wedding of Tiffney Cambridge & Jayceon Taylor has been cancelled,” the brief post read. Music rival 40 Glocc has already revealed his reaction to the canceled wedding.
“”D*MN…. I was about To make HeadLines, & Show up a that F*gget Wedding, & Give Him a Proper Dose Of the Real Sh*t Sh*t. ?#TheWeddingCrasher?,” he tweeted.
“”I’m Still about To Yell, ‘CHECK MATE!’.” I was gone yell it at the @thegame WEDDING showin up in a tux to FIGHT but that’s cancelled”” (40 Glocc’s Twitter)
Last weekend, reports suggested Game had a wedding reality show in the works.
The Game has had some pretty scary experiences — street brawls, jail, getting shot — and now moments like that can be seen from your own living room, because he is filming a reality TV show about GETTING MARRIED. Wait, WHAT? That’s right, sources tell us the rapper has teamed up with 51 Minds Entertainment — known for TV gems like “Flavor of Love” — to film a reality show all about his trip down the aisle with his fiancée, Tiffany Cambridge.
