West Coast rapper Game does not have to worry about sitting in a cell block following a court appearance Monday (June 29) for his involvement in a physical altercation last spring.

According to reports, Game appeared before a judge earlier today just hours after some post-BET Awards partying.

The Game was dropping tens of thousands of dollars on champagne at 3 AM Monday, and appearing as a defendant in court 5 hours later … and the judge could never tell. Game pled not guilty to felony criminal threat and misdemeanor assault, hours after dropping more than $40k on alcohol at Playhouse in Hollywood. Game’s due back in court on July 30 … we’ll be checking for parties the night before. (TMZ)

Details of Game’s $12 million legal woes bubbled online recently for the altercation’s aftermath.

In new court docs, Onyebuchi Awaji — the off-duty cop Game decked — says he’s suffered a ton of physical, emotional, and financial pain due to the incident:

Pain and suffering: $1,000,000
Emotional distress: $1,000,000
Medical expenses (to date): $50,000
Medical expenses (future): $100,000
Punitive damages: TEN MILLION DOLLARS (TMZ)

Game took to his Instagram page a few weeks ago to release a huge message to critics.
