West Coast rapper Game is reportedly looking to have his upcoming wedding documented in a new reality series by the same entertainment company responsible for Flavor Flav‘s “Flavor of Love” series.
Details of the speculated reality series hook-up surfaced online this weekend.
The Game has had some pretty scary experiences — street brawls, jail, getting shot — and now moments like that can be seen from your own living room, because he is filming a reality TV show about GETTING MARRIED. Wait, WHAT? That’s right, sources tell us the rapper has teamed up with 51 Minds Entertainment — known for TV gems like “Flavor of Love” — to film a reality show all about his trip down the aisle with his fiancée, Tiffany Cambridge. Rather than narrow in on his rap career, the show is more directed toward family life.
Sources closes to production tell TMZ … Game’s reality show is going to portray a whole new side of the rapper. We’re told it will focus on Game as a devoted family man and the hooplah that surrounds planning a wedding — not all that OTHER stuff (like beat downs posted on YouTube). We’re told production on the show began earlier this month, and so far they have met with both MTV and VH1 for distribution. The reps for Game and 51 Minds Ent. had no comment. The real question is — will 40 Glocc be invited to the wedding? (TMZ)
Last October, Game discussed surprising his fiancée with a marriage proposal.
“The planning was all quick, last minute. I woke up today with a different headspace, and I just started planning this at 10 a.m., and we pulled it off by 2 [p.m.]. Four hours to pull all these media outlets, get the school in line, the principal, the bishop from the church to come down. The sun came out, obviously [I’m] sweating here, crazy.” With Game’s success at prepping all these details, he might even get in on the wedding planning himself. Well, maybe. “No, no, no — I’m gonna stay on the Xbox, I’m gonna play ‘Madden,’ I’m gonna let her plan it all the way out, and then I’m gonna go overseas and get whatever she needs so she can successfully have the wedding of her life,” Game said. Footage from the former G-Unit member’s proposal landed online last fall.
The “Hate It or Love It” hitmaker surprised his girlfriend of seven years, Tiffany Cambridge, with a proposal on Wednesday, October 12 afternoon, and camera crews were present at Frank D. Parent Elementary school in Inglewood, California to document the special moment. In the two-minute video, the rapper, whose real name is Jayceon Taylor, got down on one knee after Tiffany walked into a room where he, their children, close friends, co-workers and a few camera crews were waiting. Looking a little nervous, he quickly pulled out a ring from his pocket and asked her to marry him. (Ace Showbiz)
