West Coast rapper Game has clarified speculation claiming he took shots at Wiz Khalifa and his girlfriend/model Amber Rose through the name-dropping track, "Uncle Otis."
Admitting he name checked Rose, Game said there is no ill will toward her on the record.
“How’d I diss Wiz [Khalifa]? I dissed Wiz?,” Game asked DJ Envy when asked about his “Uncle Otis” name-dropping record. “I didn’t diss her. I said, ‘Put the p*ssy on my face and let me taste a little taste.’ Now that’s a diss? [Envy] said it’s a diss. Which one is it? Am I dissing her or is [it disrespectful?] It’s just ‘Uncle Otis,’ man. Blame Uncle Otis. Yeah, he’s an old nasty n*gga. Uncle Otis is.” (Sirius XM Satellite Radio)
On the “Uncle Otis” track, Game name drops the blonde bombshell.
“Yesterday I went to/Coachella, not to see Jigga/I went to see Wiz dance with Amber: perfect/I took a seat on the red futon/Hit it with that weird sh*t on – whatever/So put that p*ssy on my face/And let me taste a little taste/I’mma eat it up like it’s my last/I’mma do it different sh*t, getting no cash/You know why? Recently, Game said his numerous Rose name checks may have ultimately hurt his relationship with her ex-boyfriend/rapper Kanye West.
“I dunno, I think I dissed Amber Rose while she was with [Kanye] and I think that kinda tainted our relationship a little bit,” Game told Sway on Wednesday’s “RapFix Live”after he was asked when he’d be working with Yeezy again. “I reached out to Kanye at the beginning of the album and I seen him in L.A. He said he was gonna give me some beats, but he never did,” the Compton MC said. “I didn’t take it personal, I got nothing but love for ‘Ye and the things that we did in the past.” (MTV)
In 2009, while Rose and Ye were still together, Game called her out on his “I’m So Wavy” diss record.
