According to Game, their “Everything Red” was supposed to be featured on his commercial album but, instead, was forced to go on his Red Room mixtape.

“I flaked on the video,” Game said of the track, which features Lil Wayne and Birdman. “Bird was like, ‘Listen, daddy, you can come down here. Junior is gonna turn himself in next Wednesday. You can come down here. We can shoot the video before Junior go in. You just have that in the safe.’ I blew it. I didn’t make it down. Once he went [to jail], I was like, ‘I can’t use this.’ I didn’t want to save it, so I gave it away. That was like, ‘Single!’ … I think I was in with Dr. Dre. I couldn’t move,” he thought back. “I think we was finishing up his records. When Dre is mixing, you don’t leave. You gotta stay posted. But I couldn’t move. So I gave it away. Fans appreciate it, though.” (MTV)

Game’s new album was recently pushed back from an early July release date.

The R.E.D. Album was originally due in stores on June 15th, but that date was changed to June 29th. The next release date given for the rapper’s fourth studio album was listed as July 6th, but that date has been pushed back as well. While an exact release date has yet-to-be confirmed, the album should land in stores this Summer. According to sources close to Game, he canceled a series of listening sessions slated to take place this week, so that he could focus on recording new material for the R.E.D. Album. (All Hip Hop)

Earlier this year, Game gave his reaction to Wayne going behind bars on a gun conviction.

“It’s f*cked up,” Game said about Wayne’s bid. “I don’t like it all. I don’t have one good feeling about it. I’m happy Tip is coming out, but sad that Wayne and Gucci gotta go in. I don’t like to see that. I like for my n*ggas that co-exist with me in hip-hop to win. I don’t like to see [for example] Fab go to jail just as much as he don’t want to see Game to jail. That sh*t is wack.” (MTV)

Wayne was sentenced to begin a one-year sentence last March.

Lil Wayne has been sentenced to a year in jail after pleading guilty in a New York City gun case. The Grammy Award-winning rapper was taken away in handcuffs to start serving his term immediately after his sentencing. He’ll serve his sentence in city jails, not a state prison. He could be released in about eight months with good behavior. (CBS News)
